Financial Systems Architect

The Opportunity: We’re looking for a highly motivated Financial Systems Architect. This position will be involved in the development, implementation and support of Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud. The Financial Systems Architect is a member of Ziff Davis ’ Enterprise Applications team, working closely with Accounting, Finance and other business teams to meet the business needs. This is an individual contributor role with 100% hands-on responsibilities for configuring and supporting Oracle Fusion. Accounting background is required (preferably CPA). Key Responsibilities: Manage, support and implement Oracle Financials modules in ERP Cloud Support users through day to day, month-end and year-end activities. Must have prior experience of this Research and analyze business processes and identify areas for improvements Ensure SOX compliance by documenting system changes and permission changes Assist accounting team members with documenting and improving upon existing processes Stay up to date on system functionality and monitor new releases for potential areas of improvement Provide user trainings on system functionality and processes Troubleshoot any system issues that arise and provide timely solutions Perform any data cleansing work as needed to improve reporting/processes. Employ creative solutions to complex problems that may arise. Job Qualifications: Significant accounting background (CPA preferred) 10+ years of experience supporting Oracle, at least half on Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud
