Overview World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general-purpose, short-term, real estate-collateralized commercial loans to small and medium-sized businesses throughout the United States that may not have access to traditional sources of funding. WBL is a U.S.-based company. Typically, the work schedule is from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, though additional hours may be required based on business needs. About the Role The Head of Financial Planning is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and management reporting across WBL. The position leads the FP&A team and works closely with department heads to assess performance, plan expenditures, and evaluate business decisions. Responsibilities include consolidated financial forecasts, portfolio and capital planning, and presentations to executive management, investors, and the board. The successful candidate will be an experienced finance leader who can direct the function while remaining closely involved in financial modeling and analysis. Key Responsibilities Direct company-wide budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and management reporting. Manage the annual budget, periodic reforecasts, and long-term financial plans, including departmental submissions, planning assumptions, and deadlines.
