Your Role within the Team 🤩 Resolution of technical problems, initial mentoring, and process optimization. Offer comprehensive solutions, make technical decisions within your domain, recognize trade-offs, and contribute to system design discussions. Your Day-to-Day as a Backend Dev 🎯 Review code effectively, providing meaningful feedback to junior and associate engineers. Understand performance, scalability, and security issues at a fundamental level. Improve system reliability by refactoring when necessary. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and quality control. Begin mentoring junior engineers and setting up team processes. What You Need to Know 🧠 3+ years in this position. Proficiency in Python or Java (one of the two is required). Knowledge of JavaScript (optional, considered a plus). Knowing how to work with more than one of these languages will be considered a plus.
