Mechanical Designer

Our client, a reputable company in the oil and gas servicing and consulting sector, is seeking a Mechanical Designer with expertise in mechanical design and consulting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical designs for oil and gas operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed 2D and 3D mechanical designs for oil and gas equipment and systems. - Create and modify technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD software. - Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy. - Conduct structural and stress analysis to optimize designs for performance and durability. - Ensure all designs comply with API, ASME, ISO, and other industry standards. - Support fabrication and manufacturing teams by providing clear and precise design specifications. - Work with vendors and procurement teams to review and select appropriate mechanical components. - Participate in design reviews, troubleshooting, and revisions as needed.
