Client: Cognizant Location: Fully Remote Employment Type: Contract Experience: 5+ Years Job Description We are looking for an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with Cognizant's end clients, designing, developing, and deploying production-ready software solutions. The role involves hands-on engineering, backend development, cloud technologies, system integrations, and collaborating with clients to solve complex business challenges. Requirements Key Requirements 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience. Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages , along with SQL. Experience with REST APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and distributed systems . Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP . Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes . Experience developing and deploying production applications. Strong problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.
