System Product Owner (Card processing)

Type of Cooperation: B2B Contract. Location: Fully remote (EU preferred, no sanctioned countries). Role Purpose The System Product Owner owns the functional scope of a backend service in Wirex 's card and payments platform, turning business needs and 3rd party/payment schemes integration requirements into clear specifications. With a focus on card processing, the role ensures that transaction flows, processor and scheme integrations (VISA, Mastercard) are designed correctly across markets and implemented as intended. Responsibilities Gather and analyze new requirements and changes concerning team service ownership. Compose detailed and understandable system requirements in the form of specifications. Proactively communicate team inputs and plans to other TPO/SPO on the one hand and upcoming changes across surrounding microservices and client apps to the team on the other.
