Data Engineer (Python / AWS)

Location: Argentina (100% Remote) Modality: Freelance Compensation: Payment in USD through Ontop Schedule: 09:00 to 18:00 hrs (Central European Time - CET/CEST) About the role: We are looking for a proactive and methodical Data Engineer with 3 to 4 years of experience to design, build, and maintain robust data infrastructures. You will work closely with multidisciplinary Data and Development teams, creating efficient ETL solutions and scalable cloud architectures. Technical Requirements: Experience: 3 to 4 years in data engineering. Languages and Databases: Advanced proficiency in Python (especially libraries like Pandas and PySpark) and SQL/PL-SQL. Architecture: Solid experience building ETL processes and designing Entity-Relationship (E/R) models. Cloud (AWS): Hands-on experience working with AWS components (particularly EMR and AWS Lambdas). Languages: Native Spanish and Advanced English (Mandatory). Nice to have: Previous experience working with financial data; Knowledge of Vector Databases; Experience in Web Scraping techniques.
