US-Based Medical Director Location: Remote, United States Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099), Full-Time Expected Commitment: ~40 hours per week About Vetster & The Role Vetster expands access to veterinary care by connecting pet owners with licensed veterinarians through a digital platform that supports professional veterinary advice, diagnoses, treatment, and prescriptions. Vetster is seeking a Medical Director to lead the clinical direction of our veterinarian marketplace and represent Vetster 's clinical voice across the wider veterinary industry. This is a full-time, fully remote 1099 contractor role. It suits a veterinarian who has led a clinic or hospital as lead DVM, or served as a regional leader for a veterinary group. The Medical Director will set our clinical standards, build the systems that grow and support our marketplace of veterinarians, and represent Vetster in commercial discussions with strategic partners across animal health. This is a chance to shape the telehealth channel in veterinary medicine, at a point where that shape is still being decided. What You'll Do Industry Leadership & Brand Represent Vetster 's clinical perspective across the wider veterinary industry, through speaking engagements, media, and professional associations.
