Canada-Based Staff Veterinarian Location: Remote, Canada Position Type: Full-Time Expected Commitment: ~ 40 hours per week About Vetster & The Role Vetster expands access to veterinary care by connecting pet owners with licensed veterinarians through a digital platform that supports professional veterinary advice, diagnoses, treatment, and prescriptions. Vetster is seeking an experienced Staff Veterinarian to provide high-quality virtual veterinary care through the Vetster platform. This is a primarily clinical, fully remote role. The Staff Veterinarian will maintain a consistent virtual appointment caseload, including Vetster marketplace appointments and consultations involving animals cared for through retail and strategic partnerships. In addition to scheduled appointments, the role includes continuity-of-care responsibilities, collaboration with Vetster ’s RVT team, and clinical input across other internal teams. What You’ll Do Provide Virtual Veterinary Care to Clients Provide virtual assessments, treatment recommendations, and prescriptions within applicable regulatory requirements through the Vetster platform. Identify cases requiring emergency or specialty care and recommend escalation. Continuity of Care Serve as an Assigned Continuing Veterinarian when the originating Marketplace Veterinarian is unavailable, in accordance with applicable VCPR requirements.
