About the opportunity: The Clinic Scheduler is responsible for answering incoming phone calls, fielding questions about scheduling with providers, directing calls to appropriate parties, taking and distributing messages, and scheduling appointments. What you will do: Schedules medical appointments through coordination of patients, providers, locations, payers, etc. Receives and initiates calls to and from patients, providers, outside provider offices, while following established scheduling procedures and protocols. Appropriately schedules appointments, tests and/or procedures, leveraging the electronic health record (EHR) scheduling software.
