What We Can Achieve Together: The Finance Manager, AR, IA, MO (Manager) serves as an experienced finance leader for a finance pod supporting 3 business units. The Manager works in collaboration with the Finance Director, AR, IA, MO and the division finance team to provide finance and accounting-related services that support effective stewardship of resources and financial sustainability. The Manager partners with team members and business unit staff to deliver strategic financial guidance, execute key financial processes, and manage day-to-day finance activities. The Manager leads and independently manages a broad range of financial responsibilities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, reporting, analysis, compliance oversight, account reconciliations, journal entries, and year-end close activities. They partner closely with staff across conservation, philanthropy, operations, and other functional areas to provide financial consultation, analysis, and problem solving. The Manager applies strong financial judgment to evaluate alternatives, identify risks and opportunities, develop recommendations, and support resource allocation and funding decisions across the pod. Operating with a high degree of independence, the Manager maintains effective financial practices, controls, and processes while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and accounting standards.
