Senior PostgreSQL DBA – Azure / AWS – 100% Remote (Spain)

Job Description At The Whiteam Consulting, we are looking for a Senior Systems Technician specialized in PostgreSQL to join a strategic project on a 100% remote basis from Spain. The selected person will be responsible for the administration, evolution, and governance of PostgreSQL environments both On-Premise and in the Cloud (Microsoft Azure and AWS), participating in technological transformation initiatives, database migrations, and the continuous improvement of critical infrastructures. This is a role with high technical responsibility, where you will act as the PostgreSQL benchmark, working in hybrid and multicloud architectures, ensuring availability, security, and performance. Responsibilities Administration and maintenance of PostgreSQL databases (v13+). Design and implementation of architectures: Hybrid (On-Premise + Cloud), Multicloud (Azure + AWS). Technical supervision of migrations to: Azure Database for PostgreSQL, AWS RDS / Aurora PostgreSQL. Full lifecycle management: Installation, Configuration, Maintenance, Optimization, Decommissioning. Implementation of solutions for: High Availability (HA), Replication (physical and logical), Disaster Recovery. Performance optimization: SQL Tuning, Index management and partitioning. Monitoring with tools: Prometheus / Grafana. Management of critical incidents and root cause analysis. Automation of tasks (scripts and deployments).
