Senior Teradata Developer – Teradata Vantage / SQL / ETL – 100% Remote

Description At The Whiteam Consulting, we are looking for professionals with experience in Teradata Database / Teradata Vantage to join projects focused on the management, evolution, and optimization of enterprise data platforms. We are seeking profiles with experience in ETL/ELT development, Data Warehouse operations, and processing large volumes of data, capable of participating in the design, maintenance, and performance improvement of Teradata-based solutions. Responsibilities Development and maintenance of ETL/ELT processes. Design and evolution of data integration solutions. Development of: Stored Procedures, Views, Macros, and Advanced SQL Scripts. Management of massive data loads and extractions. Query optimization and database performance tuning. Execution plan analysis (EXPLAIN). Administration and optimization of statistics, partitions, and indexes. Resolution of incidents in production environments. Process automation using Shell Scripting. Monitoring and execution of batch processes. Requirements Solid experience in: Teradata Database, Teradata Vantage. Mastery of: Advanced SQL, Stored Procedures, BTEQ, Views, Macros. Experience with Teradata tools: TPT (Teradata Parallel Transporter), FastLoad, MultiLoad, FastExport. Experience in: Data Warehouse, Data modeling, Multi-source integration, ETL/ELT processes. Knowledge of: MPP architecture, Workload management, Performance optimization, Skew Analysis. Experience in Linux/Unix and Shell Scripting.
