Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor - Edu & Gov Construction

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager to serve as the key day-to-day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are achieved through the delivery of value-added cost management services across complex education and government capital projects. To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and be comfortable operating in a client-facing environment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, driven, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams. In this significant position, you will provide leadership and direction while embedding and promoting the purpose, values, and vision of Turner & Townsend. The successful candidate will bring demonstrated experience delivering cost management services on education, civic, public sector, institutional, government, or other large-scale community infrastructure projects, with a strong understanding of project costs from planning and programming through design, procurement, construction, and closeout. Experience working with public sector clients, funding requirements, budget governance, and stakeholder-driven decision-making processes is highly preferred. Responsibilities: Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle. Provide estimate and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
