Financial Analyst, Travel and Expense

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support enterprise travel and entertainment expense management, spend optimization, and fraud detection initiatives. This role will play a critical part in analyzing employee expense activity, delivering actionable insights to leadership, and enhancing systems and controls—particularly within Oracle Fusion Expenses. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with systems knowledge and a proactive mindset for identifying inefficiencies, mitigating risk, and driving continuous improvement. Location: Remote Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Expense Analysis & Spend Management Analyze employee expense reports to identify trends, anomalies, and cost-saving opportunities Monitor compliance with company travel & expense policies Partner with Finance, Accounts Payable, Procurement, and Compliance teams to improve expense controls Develop and build metrics and KPIs to measure and manage organizational spend Fraud Detection & Risk Mitigation Identify suspicious transactions, duplicate claims, and potential fraud indicators Perform investigative analysis and support audit activities as needed Recommend and implement stronger preventive and detective controls Build reporting and alert mechanisms to proactively flag high-risk activity Management Reporting & Insights Design and deliver recurring and ad hoc reports for senior leade
