About the Role
At Timup, we are collaborating with a technology company in the crypto sector to find a Cloud Security Engineer. This person will be responsible for ensuring the security of the cloud infrastructure, working closely with technical teams to protect the platform against cyber threats. Responsibilities: Operate and manage cloud infrastructure security (GCP), including access control, firewalls, WAF, and perimeter security. Design and implement measures to protect the organization's information and systems. Provide security support to technical and operations teams. Participate in the investigation and analysis of security incidents. Contribute to the design of secure and scalable cloud architectures. Requirements: Previous experience in cloud security management, particularly with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Knowledge of Linux system administration, GKE, and Docker. Experience with tools such as Cloudflare and digital certificate management. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python. Analytical capability, autonomy, and problem-solving orientation. Certifications in Google Cloud Security or Cloud Architecture are a plus. Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI, CIS) and knowledge of regulations (MiCA, DORA) will be valued. Originally posted on Himalayas
