Job Title: IT Specialist Job Type: (Remote) Job Summary The IT Specialist — Systems Administration is responsible for the administration, maintenance, monitoring, security, and troubleshooting of the organization's IT systems and infrastructure. This position ensures that servers, operating systems, applications, user accounts, and related technologies remain secure, reliable, available, and properly maintained. The IT Specialist works closely with network administrators, cybersecurity teams, help desk personnel, application teams, vendors, and business users to maintain stable IT operations and support technology initiatives. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, operating systems, and enterprise IT infrastructure. Administer Windows and Linux server environments. Manage and maintain physical, virtual, and cloud-based systems. Monitor system availability, performance, capacity, and resource utilization. Troubleshoot server, operating system, application, and infrastructure-related issues. Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and access controls using Active Directory and/or Microsoft Entra ID. Administer Group Policy, organizational units, authentication, and access management. Install and maintain operating system updates, security patches, drivers, and software.
