Pharmacy Technician Senior Representative - Accredo - Remote, MO

The Pharmacy Technician Senior Representative role is an important part of the Express Scripts Specialty Distribution Services (ESSDS) team. This role uses a variety of skills to assist with specialty prescription processing, primarily by ensuring complete and accurate information is obtained from prescriber’s offices. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills and a working knowledge of medical terminology. The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and remain organized is a must. This role is not work-site dependent which allows most work to be performed at home or on occasion at a Cigna office location. Work Schedule: Work Schedule will be 8 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Mandatory overtime may sometimes be necessary to meet business needs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Primarily contacting doctors and/or patients regarding need for complete and accurate information for prescription processing. Complete data entry of prescriptions after reviewing for completeness and accuracy. Work with pharmacists per work instructions, policy and procedures, management direction or any national or state regulations. Complete training on Risk Evaluation and Mitigations Strategies (REMS) program requirements Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and assist with questions/issues for team members in coordination with supervisor.
