Appian Developer (BPM) - Banking - Spain (100% Remote) Location: (Spain/Remote/Hybrid – adjust) Contract: Full-time Languages: Spanish + English (B2+) Requirement: Spanish NIE, or EU Passport, residing in or moving to Spain. About the role We are looking for Appian Developers for BPM projects in banking. It is essential to have ≥2 years of demonstrable experience in Appian (other BPMs are a plus, but Appian is an exclusive requirement). You will work in agile squads building end-to-end processes, integrations, and Web APIs, with a focus on performance and quality. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Appian applications and processes (Records, Interfaces, Process Models, Decisions). Model data and CDTs (including nested CDTs), optimizing performance and queries. Expose/consume Appian Web APIs and integrate with core systems (REST/Swagger, Postman). Collaborate with DBAs/Backend on SQL data models (MySQL/Oracle/SQL Server), stored procedures, and tuning. Ensure quality (peer reviews, testing) and document solutions. Work with Jira/Confluence (Atlassian) in an agile environment. Requirements (100% MUST) ≥2 years as an Appian Developer (exclusive). Experience in BPM (banking sector desirable). Solid database and SQL knowledge (model design, performance, SPs). Handling of CDTs (including nested ones) and Appian Web APIs. Use of Postman and Swagger for integrations. Experience with Atlassian (Jira/Confluence). English and Spanish (team interaction and documentation). Plus (Nice-to-have)
