Appian Developer (BPM) - Banking - Spain (100% Remote) Location: (Spain/Remote/Hybrid – to be adjusted) Contract: Full-time Languages: Spanish + English (B2+) About the role We are looking for Appian Developers for BPM projects in the banking sector. Having ≥2 years of verifiable experience in Appian is essential (experience in other BPM tools is a plus, but Appian is a mandatory requirement). You will work in agile squads building end-to-end processes, integrations, and Web APIs, focusing on performance and quality. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Appian applications and processes (Records, Interfaces, Process Models, Decisions). Model data and CDTs (including nested CDTs), optimizing performance and queries. Expose/consume Appian Web APIs and integrate with core systems (REST/Swagger, Postman). Collaborate with DBAs/Backend on SQL data models (MySQL/Oracle/SQL Server), stored procedures, and tuning. Ensure quality (peer reviews, testing) and document solutions. Work with Jira/Confluence (Atlassian) in an agile environment. Requirements (100% MUST) ≥2 years as an Appian Developer (mandatory). Experience in BPM (banking sector preferred). Solid knowledge of databases and SQL (model design, performance, SPs). Handling of CDTs (including nested ones) and Appian Web APIs. Use of Postman and Swagger for integrations. Experience with Atlassian (Jira/Confluence). English and Spanish (for team interaction and documentation). Nice-to-have Experience in other BPM platforms (e.g., Camunda, Pega, IBM BPM).
