Symetra is seeking an AVP, Independent Channel Operations and Strategic Solutions to join our team! About the role In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and improving the end-to-end experience for Symetra 's Independent Broker Dealer (IBD) channel. You will partner across Distribution, Operations, Product, Technology, Compliance, and other functions to identify opportunities, solve business challenges, and drive strategic initiatives that improve advisor experience, operational effectiveness, and business results. You will combine strategy, operations, and cross-functional leadership to ensure channel priorities are clearly defined, effectively executed, and aligned with organizational goals. What you will do Strategy & Business Leadership Lead the strategy and evolution of the Independent Broker Dealer channel experience. Partner with senior leaders to identify priorities, improve operational performance, and enhance ease of doing business. Use customer, advisor, operational, and business insights to identify opportunities and recommend solutions. Influence strategic roadmaps and ensure channel needs are represented in business and technology initiatives. Provide thought leadership and drive execution of high-impact, cross-functional programs.
