Director of Membership

Job Description Director of Membership Our company provides full-service management to trade and professional associations, as well as specialized services including non-profit financial management and event coordination. We are seeking a full-time Director of Membership to support our client, the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI). The Director of Membership will focus on member-centric initiatives as outlined in the Strategic Plan. The position requires strategic execution, critical thinking, membership development skills, a solid sense of marketing the benefits of membership, and attention to detail. PrimaryResponsibilities: Oversees the creation and management of IAAI’s membership recruitment and retention programs based on guidance from the Membership Committee Chair, Executive Director (ED) and Chief of Staff (COS). Works with the COS and other team members to identify member database improvements and upgrades to improve accuracies, reporting systems, and user experience. Oversees the membership application process and manages coordinators to process applications in a timely fashion; flag incomplete membership applications with support from Association Coordinator. Prepare monthly dues billing and produce reminder notices for automatic sending through the AMS system; produce/send special-case invoices. Pull new open invoice reports before invoices are wiped each month. Manages the FireArson.com website; making changes to the site and sending updates
