Functional Analyst, Learning Platform (Blackboard)

Business context Manages higher education institutions in Peru and Mexico, with academic and administrative processes serving students, faculty, and internal departments. The virtual learning platform is critical for online classes, and during enrollment periods, admission exams, and the start of classes, it cannot fail. Need We are looking to hire a functional analyst to provide second-level (L2) support for the Blackboard platform and handle new requirements. This role is primarily functional, with technical knowledge that enables them to handle incidents, manage users, courses, and enrollments, and support production deployments. Challenges Support demand is high during academic peaks, and the team operates on a weekend rotation while onboarding new hires. The profile must adapt quickly, as the first 15 to 21 days are dedicated to training, followed by handling accumulated tickets. Blackboard is a niche skill, so the client accepts experience in other LMS platforms and will provide the necessary training.
