About the Role: The Controller owns STACK's day-to-day accounting operations and the accuracy of its financial results. This role leads the monthly close, consolidated financial reporting, payables, banking, payroll, commissions, and SaaS metrics reporting across all STACK entities. The Controller reports to the COO/CFO and manages the Staff Accountants. The role works closely with Sales, Customer Success, HR, and Revenue Operations to make sure every transaction is recorded correctly and every report is one leadership can trust. Your Most Important Initiatives: Close and financial reporting Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close on a defined calendar, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Review each entity's financial statements and deliver consolidated financials, with variance commentary, to the COO/CFO Account for SaaS revenue under ASC 606, including deferred revenue, multi-year contracts, and billing-to-revenue reconciliation Maintain the chart of accounts, intercompany accounting, and foreign currency (US and Canada) across entities Payables, banking, and cash Oversee the accounts payable function, review vendor setu
