IT Operations Database Expert (m/f/d) - Internal

Your responsibilities: You support the stable and reliable operation of our database landscapes based on Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, and PostgreSQL, and take on tasks in incident and change management. You install, configure, and administer database instances, analyze performance issues, and implement appropriate optimization measures. You help ensure reliable backup and recovery processes as well as the implementation and monitoring of high availability and disaster recovery concepts. You optimize maintenance jobs and monitoring processes and help ensure the availability, stability, and performance of our database systems. You automate operational and provisioning processes using Python, PowerShell, and Ansible, and support the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for database-related deployments. You participate in the standardization of our operational processes, ensure data quality and information integrity, and create clear technical documentation. You assist with architecture and platform decisions, explore new technologies such as AI-driven automation, and contribute ideas for the continuous development of our database environments. This position is assigned to the IT Operations job role at level F3. Your profile: You have sound knowledge in the administration of Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, and PostgreSQL.
