Job Description Summary: The BESS Engineer III is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and optimization of BESS projects. This role provides strategic direction, technical expertise, and engineering oversight to ensure successful delivery of BESS solutions that meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements. Lead and manage the design and engineering of battery energy storage systems (BESS), ensuring compliance with contracts, utilities, and AHJ requirements. Review feasibility studies, site assessments, and system sizing analyses to recommend optimal BESS configurations and future augmentation provisions. Serve as a senior technical contributor across electrical, civil, structural, SCADA, and HV engineering scopes on assigned projects. Manage Engineers of Record and third-party engineering partners
