Technical Cloud Architect

This is a remote position. We are looking for a professional with solid experience in Google Cloud Platform infrastructure management, to support the development team through the administration, control, and maintenance of cloud environments, ensuring stability, security, and proper system performance. Schedule: Part-time, 25 hours per week. Responsibilities: Manage and administer cloud infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Provide operational and infrastructure support to the development team. Conduct regular reviews of the status and performance of virtual machines and cloud services. Execute preventive maintenance tasks, updates, and system patches. Support deployment pipelines, version control, and CI/CD processes. Manage Kubernetes environments and containerized workloads. Monitor services, metrics, and alerts using observability tools. Collaborate on tasks related to networking, firewalls, and infrastructure security. Ensure stability, availability, and performance of production environments. Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and platform-related incidents. Requirements Education: Technical or professional degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields (preferred). Experience: Minimum 3–4 years of experience in infrastructure management on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Previous experience administering production cloud environments.
