Sterilization Technologist Instructor

POSITION SUMMARY The Sterilization Technologist Instructor is responsible for coordinating and delivering SIPS Healthcare Solutions ’ Sterilization Technologist certification preparation program. This is not a traditional CSPD educator role. This position is focused on virtual classroom instruction, student engagement, exam preparation, cohort administration, academic support, and continuous program development. The ideal candidate is an experienced sterile processing professional who is technology-savvy, organized, engaging, and passionate about developing others. Classes are currently held two evenings per week from 6:00 PM–9:30 PM CST. Each quarterly cohort consists of a maximum of 20 students. Additional study sessions, exam preparation, quizzes, and student support activities may be scheduled based on cohort needs. Instruction & Student Support Coordinate and facilitate assigned quarterly cohorts and scheduled online classes. Deliver engaging instruction using presentations, demonstrations, case studies, quizzes, and other educational tools. Provide coaching, feedback, and academic support to students throughout the program. Identify students who need additional support and communicate concerns to leadership. Maintain an average class passing rate of 80% or higher. Cohort Administration Maintain accurate student grades and educational records.
