Senior SAP WM / HU Consultant (Freelance)

For a long-term SAP project with a company in the automotive supply industry, we are looking for an experienced Senior SAP WM / HU Consultant (Freelance). The goal of the project is the harmonization and further development of existing SAP Warehouse Management and Handling Unit processes across multiple locations based on SAP ECC. We are looking for a hands-on SAP consultant who is thoroughly familiar with both logistical processes and the corresponding SAP Customizing. Project Details Start: 01/2027 Duration: 12 months Allocation: Full-time Location: Remote, occasional workshops in Germany Language: Very good German language skills Tasks Analysis and optimization of existing SAP WM and HU processes Customizing and further development of SAP ECC Warehouse Management Harmonization of warehouse processes across multiple locations Coordination of interfaces to adjacent SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, QM) Support during testing, rollouts, cutover, and go-live Collaboration with business departments and IT, as well as documentation of solutions Requirements Several years of practical experience with SAP ECC WM Good knowledge of SAP Handling Unit Management (HU) Sound experience in SAP WM Customizing Understanding of logistical processes and SAP integrations Very good German language skills and an independent working style Advantageous, but not a requirement: Experience with Mobisys or comparable mobile warehouse solutions ABAP knowledge and experience with minor Z-developments
