About the job Fully remote contractor role - South Africa. Responsibilities: Provision, configure, and monitor Azure virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components. Implement security measures and manage access controls in Azure. Perform regular backups and implement disaster recovery strategies for Azure resources. Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate application deployment processes. Evaluate and recommend Azure services based on project needs and constraints. Implement version control and repository management for Azure projects. Integrate applications with Azure databases, storage, and other services. Perform database backups, restoration, and disaster recovery in Azure. Configure and manage identity and access controls in Azure. Implement network security and access controls in Azure. Configure and manage virtual networks in Azure. Implement network security and access controls in Azure. Optimize network performance to troubleshoot network issues. Integrate on-premises networks with Azure. Requirements Bachelor's degree Microsoft Certified: Any Azure Expert certification Strong understanding of cloud architecture and design principles. Hands-on experience with Azure services and resources. Experience with Azure App Service and Azure Functions. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools. Experience with Azure data services.
