Technical Assistant - Food Advisory

Job Title : Technical Assistant Job Type: Permanent Hours : 37.5 per week - 5 Days per week (9-5) Job Location : Remote, UK Salary: From £28,000 DOE Overview Prepare, verify, check and approve product documentation in accordance with the client’s requirements taking information from suppliers. Reporting any non-compliance against client policies. Providing technical and regulatory support to the Compliance Managers and Senior Advisors Ensure that the product documentation adheres to client policies and procedures. Applying client’s new and updated policies, regulatory and technical requirements. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has experience in working within the food industry within a regulatory, QC/QA or advisory position What we are ideally looking for: Formal Food Hygiene/Science/Regulatory Qualification or Degree or Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2) Previous food industry background - ideally food manufacturing, regulatory or quality assurance Awareness of completing on-line retailer specifications. Awareness of microbiology and nutritional analysis Excellent verbal and written communication skills Analytical and problem-solving skills.
