Product Legal Counsel

Overview Seismic is the global leader in AI-powered go-to-market preparation and performance software, used by more than 2,500 of the world's leading enterprises, including many in financial services and other regulated industries. We are seeking a Product Counsel to join the legal team of a mature, but still fast-growing SaaS business. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Security, and Go-to-Market teams throughout the product lifecycle, providing practical legal guidance on product development, AI, data privacy, emerging technologies, and global regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted, business-embedded legal partner, helping to identify and manage legal risk while enabling innovation and supporting the development and launch of market-leading SaaS products. Who you are: JD, with admission to at least one bar. A minimum of 3 years of substantive legal experience, preferably within the in-house legal department of a SaaS company. Demonstrated knowledge in AI and data privacy law and regulations, with a strong understanding of emerging technologies. Experience working with, and advising on, AI-powered products and services. Experience and practical insight into customer-driven development dynamics. Familiarity with open source and experience counseling companies on open-source policy and remediation.
