Senior Technical Architect

Role Summary We're looking for a Senior Technical Architect to provide technical leadership and expertise during Discovery, helping government officials and the wider team understand the existing technical landscape and assessing the impact of proposed changes on back-office IT systems. This role requires a technically strong architect capable of working autonomously in a complex, multi-organisation IT environment and producing robust, evidence-based technical assessments that directly inform decisions on a new digital system. Key Responsibilities Assess and document existing technical architecture, identifying root causes of data quality issues, data loss incidents and system failures Engage with IT teams and back-office system providers to understand existing integrations, data flows and technical dependencies Produce clear and structured technical documentation including current-state architecture diagrams, integration maps, data flow diagrams
