This role is ideal for a technically strong, detail-oriented professional with proven experience in mechanical design and estimation for Australian projects. You’ll work directly with the Director on technical matters and collaborate closely with the Office Manager (Project Admin/Coordinator) for day-to-day inquiries, client communications, and project administration. Responsibilities: Estimating & Design Prepare accurate estimations, designs, and take-offs for HVAC, hydronic heating, and airconditioning systems. Perform pipework design, flow calculations, and thermal load assessments (heat loss/gain,pump and heat pump sizing). Build and maintain estimating templates, cost libraries, and take-off lists. Use H2X for mechanical design and calculations. Operate within SimPRO for job costing, quoting, and project workflows. Project Support Draft and review project documentation and mechanical specifications. Assist with tenders, proposals. Track and compare estimates against actual project outcomes to improve accuracy.
