Compositing Lead

Summary: The Compositing Lead will perform various complex digital image composition tasks, while supporting the 2D artists within their project team. This includes answering questions, offering guidance and helping to resolve issues in a positive and constructive manner. Main responsibilities: Compositing on simple to complex shots at various stages of production including pre-comps, lineups, 2D tracking, 2D effects, keying extractions, integration and color correction; Resolve visual, artistic and technical issues when possible or pass on information to the appropriate department (modelling, texture, 3D lighting, etc.); Ensure the consistency of the final composition of the elements of a visual effects shot; Harmonize the creative and technical aspects of each shot; Integrate the 2D and 3D elements in order to produce photorealistic images that meet Rodeo's high quality standards; Work closely with the Compositing Supervisor and Production to find creative and technical solutions and approaches that meet project requirements and deadlines; Participate in the creation of tools for their speciality.
