Overview and purpose of the role The Head of Accounting leads the day-to-day accounting operations of the business. The role ensures accurate and timely financial records, reliable inventory records and valuation, strong internal controls, and full compliance with statutory, tax and Group reporting requirements. It owns the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll accounting, fixed assets, inventory accounting and control, tax filings and the month-end and year-end close. It also builds a high-performing accounting team that supports the wider finance organisation across RMAC Group's divisions. Key responsibilities: 1. Accounting Operations Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, fixed asset registers and inventory accounting. Ensure the month-end and year-end close is accurate, complete and on time, with a published closing calendar
