Server Management: Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers in a virtualized environment (VMware/Hyper-V). Network Administration: Management of LAN/WAN networks, including switches, routers, and firewalls; monitoring of network performance and security. Backup & Recovery: Development of disaster recovery plans. Software Management: Installation, configuration, and updates of enterprise software as well as license management. Monitoring: Use of monitoring solutions (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix) to monitor system availability and performance; proactive identification of issues. Documentation: Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and operating manuals. Project Collaboration: Support in the planning and implementation of IT projects, such as migrations, rollouts of new systems, or cloud solutions. Requirements: Completed training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker/in für Systemintegration) or comparable qualification. At least 3 years of professional experience in system administration. Solid knowledge of: Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP; network technologies (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN); virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V); backup solutions (Veeam); security solutions (firewalls, etc.).
