Senior Consultant - Quantum

We are seeking an experienced Contractor Quantity Surveyor to provide technical and analytical support to Quantum Experts on construction and infrastructure disputes. The successful candidate will assist with the detailed investigation, analysis and valuation of construction costs and claims. This role would suit a commercially strong Contractor Quantity Surveyor who is comfortable working with large volumes of project and cost information and can interrogate records methodically to establish a clear evidential basis for quantum assessments. Key Responsibilities The role is expected to include: Reviewing contracts, bills of quantities, schedules of rates, variations, valuations, payment records and other commercial documentation. Undertaking detailed measurement and remeasurement from drawings and project records. Reviewing and valuing variations and additional works. Analysing contractor cost records, including labour, plant, materials, subcontractors and preliminaries. Preparing detailed quantum calculations and valuation schedules. Reviewing claims for prolongation, disruption, loss and expense, overheads and other additional costs. Reconciling claimed amounts against contemporaneous records, invoices, applications for payment and cost ledgers. Preparing cost comparisons, reconciliations and supporting schedules, primarily in Excel. Identifying gaps, inconsistencies and areas requiring further supporting evidence.
