Zoho Integration Engineer

Category: IT Services Location: Engagement Part-time contractor (hourly). Work is scoped by deliverable. Each deliverable must include an effort estimate (hours), prerequisites, milestones, and acceptance criteria before kickoff. Role Summary We’re looking for a hands-on Integration Engineer to design, build, and maintain integrations across the Zoho suite and third-party platforms. You will implement event-driven workflows, data syncs, and automations that connect Zoho CRM, Zoho Flow, Custom Functions (Deluge), Zoho Books, Zoho Campaigns, Zoho FSM, Zoho Analytics with external systems such as SalesCloser AI, iMonnit (sensor telemetry), QuickBooks, Smartleads, and integration frameworks like Zapier, Make (Integromat), n8n. The ideal contractor pairs strong technical execution with clear documentation and proactive communication. Core Responsibilities Integration Design & Build: Implement workflows in Zoho Flow (triggers, webhooks, HTTP modules, variable mapping, JSONPath). Write Deluge Custom Functions (and use Connections) to call REST APIs, handle auth (Bearer/OAuth), pagination, retries, and idempotency. Quality, Monitoring, & Reliability: Add error handling, logging, and alerting (e.g., Zoho Cliq/Email notifications, dead-letter handling, retry policies, rate-limit backoff). Create test plans and run UAT for each deliverable; validate edge cases and data reconciliation. Documentation & Handover: Produce solution designs, data maps, field dictionaries, sequence
