Product Parameterization Engineer

At RDT, we are looking for a Product Parameterization Engineer whose main mission will be to develop, maintain, and optimize parametric product models that automatically generate valid configurations using Excel tools integrated with SolidWorks. Their primary objective is to transform engineering knowledge, regulatory constraints, and physical product limits into robust design rules that facilitate the industrialization and scalability of different product families. Main responsibilities: Product Parameterization - Design and maintain parametric models in SolidWorks. Create and manage Design Tables linked with Excel. Define variables, equations, and configuration rules. Automate the generation of product variants, minimizing repetitive design work. Engineering Rule Management - Translate technical requirements into mathematical formulas and constraints. Define valid ranges for dimensional and functional parameters. Establish dependencies between components, subassemblies, and systems. Ensure that all generated configurations are technically viable. Physical and Regulatory Validation - Understand the physical phenomena that limit design (mechanical resistance, deformations, fatigue, weight, stability, thermal transfer, etc.).
