The Career Specialist will provide support to Purdue University Global. Job Summary: The Career Specialist proactively develops strong, long-term partnerships with Purdue Global (PG) students and graduates by providing personalized coaching services that engage and assist them in achieving their education and career goals. The Career Specialist provides comprehensive consultative services that assist students and graduates in developing short and long-term plans to meet their desired career objectives. What to expect in this role: Relationship Building & Metric Attainment: Proactively develop partnerships with assigned cohorts of students/graduates with the purpose of collaborating with graduates on their job search strategies to advance their careers. Activities include but are not limited to: sourcing and sending job leads, marketing graduates to employers, coaching students/graduates on effective resume writing, social media use, job searching, and networking.
