As a Virtual Reading Specialist / Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT), you will deliver comprehensive, research-based reading intervention and specialized support to students in a fully remote environment, meeting them where they are and making a real difference in their academic growth, decoding skills, and reading confidence. You will work side by side with special education teams, teachers, and families through the power of virtual platforms while bringing evidence-based practices and genuine care to every student you serve. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Deliver live, interactive one-on-one virtual reading intervention sessions tailored to student-specific learning goals and IEP objectives. Utilize explicit, systematic, structured, and multi-sensory teaching strategies (such as Orton-Gillingham or CALT methods) to address decoding, encoding, fluency, and reading comprehension. Conduct informal reading assessments and progress monitoring via telehealth-compatible platforms and tools to evaluate literacy growth.
