Mechanical Design Engineer - (Fully Remote)

Overview PM Group 's Outsourced Technical Services (OTS) department are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Project Delivery Team, supporting the design and execution of large-scale data centre projects . The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering mechanical designs from concept through detailed design, construction support, commissioning, and project closeout. This position requires a strong understanding of mission-critical facilities and data centre infrastructure, along with the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality, technically robust solutions on complex projects. Responsibilities Develop mechanical engineering designs for data centre and mission-critical facilities. Design and coordinate HVAC systems including cooling strategies for white space, plantrooms, and support areas. Produce calculations, equipment sizing, system layouts, specifications, schedules, and technical reports. Support the design of chilled water systems, condenser water systems, CRAH/CRAC units, cooling towers, pumps, and associated mechanical infrastructure. Participate in mechanical design reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and best practices. Coordinate with electrical, architectural, structural, and commissioning teams throughout project delivery. Conduct technical evaluations of vendor equipment and review supplier submittals.
