Responsibilities Serves as front line support for the Patient Connection Center within Piedmont Healthcare . Reviews accounts for hospital services to ensure completeness prior to patient arrival. Prepares for the patient visit by verifying patient insurance, confirming benefits, determining authorization requirements, initiating and obtaining pre-certification or authorization, and creating estimates to determine pre-service patient liability. Qualifications Education H.S.
