Graduate Civil/Structural Engineer

About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated graduate civil and structural engineer to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of high-quality engineering design for a broad range of civil and structural engineering projects. All work carried out in accordance with company ISO 9001 procedures. This challenging and rewarding position requires an ambitious mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will primarily work on projects across the West of Ireland, with Galway / Castlebar as their local ORS office base. This provides the opportunity to lead and develop a strong regional project portfolio while working as part of ORS ’s wider multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Assist in the planning, design, and execution of civil and structural engineering projects, including water resources, group water schemes, retail and residential developments. Prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other industry-standard tools. Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support project designs and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards. Work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.
