Fieldwork Placement Specialist

The Fieldwork Placement Specialist (FPS) is a member of our academic team and is responsible for the partner outreach, fieldwork placement reservations, and contract coordination for level II placements for online OTA and OT bridge students. Fieldwork Level II placements are the final clinical requirement before graduation. OTA students complete two, 8-week fieldwork II rotations and OT Bridge students complete two, 12-week rotations. For both programs, fieldwork II rotations run in Fall, Spring and Summer terms. The Fieldwork Placement Specialist is accountable for nurturing and maintaining relationships with current health care partners and developing new partnerships for these rotations. The FPS is responsible for an assigned group of geographically diverse student placements but will not work directly with students. Target hire date is ideally between Dec 2026 to mid Jan 2027. What You Will Do: Meets placement benchmark goals established for each team and future terms. Provides high-touch fieldwork II site engagement to new and current healthcare partners. Places assigned pipeline of students into fieldwork rotations on time within each student’s program plan and per university and program policy. Ensures viable healthcare partners for current and future rotations in their geographies.
