Reading Tutor – OpenLiteracy (POOL) Talent Pool Application | Remote | Part-time Contract (1099) | $28/hour | 10-20 hours/week Please note: This is a talent pool posting, not an immediate opening. By applying, you'll be evaluated and added to our pool of qualified tutors. We draw from this pool on a rolling basis as new tutoring positions become available, so timelines vary and applying does not guarantee a placement or a specific start date. Candidates who are accepted into the pool will be contacted directly when a match is identified. About OpenLiteracy 40% of fourth graders in this country read below grade level. At OpenLiteracy, our mission is to change that, one student at a time. We offer a suite of products and services designed to meet students and educators where they are: a purchasable reading curriculum grounded in the Science of Reading, Tier 2 intervention support for classroom educators, and high-impact, individualized Tier 3 tutoring. We're looking for passionate, certified educators to join our tutoring team and make a real difference in children's literacy outcomes across the country. The Role Once matched from the pool, you'll work 1:1 with students in grades K-6 through our secure online platform, using a curriculum designed by our team. No lesson planning required!
