The Role The Tax Resolution Analyst (Tax Notices) is responsible for reviewing, investigating, and resolving tax notices issued to our payroll clients by federal, state, and local tax agencies. This role ensures clients remain compliant, penalty notices are resolved or abated efficiently, and root causes are identified to prevent recurring errors. This position requires deep technical knowledge of payroll tax laws, strong analytical skills to audit historical payroll records, and direct experience working with government tax agencies (IRS and state/local tax authorities) to clear tax notices, abate penalties, and reconcile payroll tax accounts.
