RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy sessions Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that respect their cultural values and preferences. Provide support and psychoeducation to clients and their families about the intersections of culture, identity, and mental well-being. Submit accurate and HIPAA-compliant progress notes, including intake, progress, and treatment plans in a timely manner. Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of cultural competency and mental health. Participate in professional development and training opportunities. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL: Demonstrate a strong understanding of cultural nuances and their impact on mental health, ensuring that counseling approaches are tailored accordingly. Be desirous of, building, and participating in a vibrant and fast-growing community of mental health providers at the practice, through biweekly case conferences, quarterly meetups, mental health expos, and annual retreats.
