Senior Accountant

About the role: Omatic is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is key to keeping our financial reporting accurate and on time as the company grows. The Senior Accountant owns core parts of the month-end close, keeps the general ledger accurate, and supports audit, compliance, and technical accounting work for a SaaS business. The role also helps develop other team members, keeps the close running smoothly, and finds ways to make our processes more efficient. It’s a good fit for a detail-oriented accountant who likes hands-on work and wants to help build a finance function that supports Omatic ’s mission. What you will be doing: Month-End Close & General Ledger Own key components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data across all entities Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner Technical Accounting & Compliance Research and document technical accounting positions (e.g., revenue recognition under ASC 606, lease accounting) common to SaaS businesses Support the annual financial statement audit, including preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests Help maintain and strengthen internal controls appropriate for a PE-backed company Process Improvement & Systems Identify and implement process improvemen
